STREET
Transparency: Seeing Through Photography. There’s stillness in this photograph that was not there in reality. Crouching by the edge of a busy sidewalk during Kraków’s peak hour I watched as people, cars and trams hurried past. At a shutter speed of 1/640th of a second those that passed by were frozen in their moment. Isolated by the four edges of the frame, this is a fleeting portrait of someone who knows where to find stillness, even amongst the bustle of city life.
