The often misty hills and vales of the Scottish Highlands are a superb place for a road trip. Just south of Tornapress, off the A896, is the beginning of ‘Bealach na Bà’ — a mountain pass that climbs to a height of 626m before it descends to the fishing village of Shore Street on the Applecross Peninsula.
