LANDSCAPE

Running alongside the Melba Highway between Coldstream and Yarra Glen, this extension of the Lilydale railway line operated for nearly 100 years (1888 to 1983). Trestle bridge sections east of Yarra Glen were later claimed by the Black Saturday Bushfires in 2009. Reconstruction began in 2013.
